Portrait of Col Brian L. Reece in his flightsuit.

Brian L. Reece writes the kind of military thrillers that only someone who's been there can bring to the page. A retired Air Force Colonel with twenty-six years in special operations, he's flown helicopters through combat and classified operations, and knows exactly what it feels like when everything goes to hell at 100 feet and 110 knots.

His fiction draws from real life, real fear, and real decisions made when the manual doesn't have an answer.

A graduate of the US Air Force Academy and Air War College, Brian holds master's degrees in business, history, and strategy. His debut novel, Stealing Stealth, received a Publisher's Weekly Editor's Pick. His second novel, Arctic Fire, earned a starred review from Kirkus Reviews.

A SAG actor and technical consultant to the entertainment industry, Brian has spent time on both sides of the camera, helping productions achieve the authenticity that audiences and veterans demand. He currently works in the defense sector.

His stories center on professionals pushed past their limits, where competence matters as much as courage, and the little decisions are what keep you alive.
