Sometimes life goes to hell at 100 FEET AND 110 KNOTS.

Brian L. Reece flew special operations helicopters for twenty-six years. He writes thrillers about professionals pushed past their limits, where competence matters as much as courage and small decisions are what keep you alive.

Where the material comes from
The flying came first. The novels came out of what the flying left behind.
Twenty-six years in Air Force special operations, flying the MH-53 Pave Low, the UH-1, and the Mi-17 across Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Horn of Africa. Real missions, real fear, and real decisions made when the manual doesn't have an answer. That is the well the books draw from.
SERVICE. Retired Colonel, US Air Force. Command Pilot with more than 380 combat hours.
DECORATIONS. Two Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star, and nine Air Medals.
EDUCATION. US Air Force Academy. Air War College, highest distinction and the Nowak Award. Master's degrees in business, history, and strategy.
SCREEN. SAG actor and technical consultant to film and television.
BRIAN L. REECE
BOTH SIDES OF THE CAMERA
As a SAG actor and technical consultant, Brian has worked with productions on the details that audiences feel and veterans notice. Procedure, posture, and the language people actually use when the situation turns.
